Terms & conditions
The service
Dhala analyses the movement of camels and horses from user-submitted videos, according to Dhala’s assessment rules.
Limitation of liability
Results are based on the submitted clips and angles. They are not a veterinary diagnosis and do not replace a clinical examination by a qualified veterinarian. Decisions about treatment or racing remain the owner’s responsibility.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and the accuracy of what you submit. Guest accounts live on one device; linking to an Apple ID is recommended.
Payments
All purchases are made in the app through Apple. Gift codes work once and never expire.
Monthly subscription
The in-app monthly subscription renews automatically at the same price each month and is charged to your Apple account unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings; refunds for a started period follow Apple's policy.
Filming and unusable clips
Clips and photos are taken with the app’s camera at the time of the exam and must show the same animal registered for the exam. If the clips can’t be analysed (the animal isn’t shown, it’s a different animal, the footage is unclear, or the filming instructions weren’t followed), we ask you to film again on the same exam and explain why, at no extra charge. You get two free retakes per exam. If the clips are still unusable after the second retake, the exam goes to our support team, who review it, contact you, and then decide to issue a result from the available clips, allow an exceptional retake, or close the exam. When a paid exam is closed, one exam is returned to your in-app balance unless the problem came from misuse. Exams are not returned automatically, and money refunds for purchases are handled by Apple under its policy.
Your responsibility for filming
You are responsible for making sure the clips and photos clearly show the animal registered for the exam. The app does not block sending a clip in which the animal isn’t shown. If the analysis team rejects your clips because the animal isn’t shown, we ask you to film again and warn you. If the animal isn’t shown in the retake either, the exam is closed without a result and one exam is charged from your balance. If you have no balance at that time, the exam is recorded as due and deducted from your next credit, and a new exam can’t start before then.
Acceptable use
Submitting unrelated content or abusing the service is not allowed. Repeatedly submitting unusable clips on purpose may lead to the exam being closed without returning the credit.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept them.
